The Society owns the rules for membership and the Studbook. The full published rules govern in every case.

The Rules In Brief
- Identification
- Every horse must be microchipped by a veterinarian and recorded before any other entry is made.
- Parentage
- Entry to the Main Register requires DNA parentage verification against recorded sire and dam.
- Inspection
- Horses are inspected against published gates (hindquarters, soundness, temperament) and scored for conformation, movement and boldness.
- Passports
- A lifetime passport is issued once a registrar approves registration. It stays with the horse for life.
- Transfers
- Changes of ownership must be notified to the Studbook and are recorded when approved by the registrar.
